The Penguin Parade at Phillip Island is the most famous wildlife experiences in Victoria and is the second most visited ticketed tourist destination in Australia. We’ll make sure you get a close up view of the iconic parade as the penguins cross the beach and waddle up to their burrows each night. Phillip Island is abundant with native wildlife and beautiful coastal scenery, located just 90 minutes south-east of Melbourne. You’ll visit the Koala Conservation Centre where you can learn about the unique life of everyone’s favourite marsupial. There’s also an elevated boardwalk that offers a close encounter with the resident koalas.
Our tour takes you on a scenic back road through the conservation park where wallabies roam free, cape barron geese contest one another, and soaring swamp harriers look for prey. The coastline here boast inspiring scenery that you’ll be able to photograph as we stop to admire the view.
You’ll also visit the Seal Rock region, home to the second largest Australian fur seal colony. From here you’ll take in the immense vista of the Southern Ocean and enjoy stunning views from the boardwalk that meanders past penguin nests.
