A days of adventure and fun awaits you on our Mt Buller Snow Tour. You get to experience the unique Australian alpine region covered in snow with rolling white hills and beautiful Snow Gum Eucalyptus forest. Take the family for some fun tobogganing and snow play, or for those wanting some serious skiing board the many chairlifts and ski for 4-5 hours.
The Mt. Buller resort village boasts many cafe’s restaurants and amenities plus a network of 25 ski lifts servicing 300 hectares of snow-covered slopes.
Our private tour takes you in luxury through the high country region stopping at the small town of Mansfield at the base of the mountain for hot coffee and brunch as we put the chains on and then head up the mountain. Arriving at the resort we take you to get your hire equipment and then to your lessons, if booked. All ski hire, equipment and clothing can be hired on the day and you can get and we can arrange all of this for you. If you are more interested in sightseeing and snow playing you can take the scenic chairlift to the top for amazing panoramic views and enjoy the toboggan park.
Lift passes can be pre-arranged and if you are having so much fun and want to extend the tour we can include an extend an extra few hours and return back later.

The mountain is a 3.5 hr drive north east of Melbourne through the scenic ranges to the base of the mountain and another 15 minutes to the top.
If you want to ski or snowboard then you will need a lift pass. These vary in price depending on the date. Midweek = $79-92, Weekends up to $ 139.00
If you are not skiing or snowboarding then you don’t need a lift pass..
All skiing, toboggans, and clothing equipment can be hired on the mountain. We can pre book and hire equipment for you beforehand or let your guide know what you need and we will arrange.

No you dont. If you cant ski then the toboggan run is your most fun, or just playing in the snow. For those more experienced Skiing and Snowboarding is available and these can be hired..
Bring as much warm clothing that you can. you will need to have

- Jacket & Pants*
- Sunglasses and Sunscreen*
- Small backpack or bag
If you don’t have any of these you can hire all clothing and equipment on the mountain.
Yes we have Free Wifi for you whilst in the vehicle and Mt. Buller resort offers free WiFi in the main square.
Its a fun day out so bring your family and your children. The mountain has two toboggan parks that are safe and supervised by resort staff and plenty of places for general snow play.
If you have children under 7 we must be notified to bring a harness seat for them by law.
To maximise your time on the mountain we recommend a 12 hour tour. This will give you between 4-5 hours on the snow.
If you are having fun and want to extend the tour by 2 hrs to 14 hrs you can do so on the day. Extra charge of $ 150.00 applies.
Yes, we can organise either group lessons or private lessons for either 1 or 2 hrs. If you have never skied or need to brush up on techniques a lesson is worthwhile.
There are many restaurants and eateries on the mountain for you to choose from. Lunch is not included on the tour.
