All about the Wilsons Promontory Tour – Private Tour.

Next we head towards Wilsons Promontory National Park. Once inside the park, there are a number of short and medium length day walks to choose between as well as many suburb beaches to explore.

Wilsons Promontory is a stunning natural area on the southernmost tip of the Australian continent. It is Victoria’s most loved National Park and and a stunning wilderness area. The granite based mountains loom out into the sea, surrounded by the clearest blue waters and some of the most pristine beaches in the country. The ruggedness and sheer beauty of the park captures the hearts of all who visit.

‘The Prom’ is located 230 kilometres south-east of Melbourne, and is a favourite of animal lovers and hikers for its abundant wildlife and hiking trails.

Your Wilsons Promontory Tour

The Wilsons Promontory Tour will cater to your interests and how much walking you want to do. You can do a combination of walks in the areas, including Mt Oberon (2hrs), Mt. Bishop (1.5hrs) or the rainforest beauty of Lilly Pilly Gully (1.5hrs). There’s also a simply amazing beach walk between Squeaky Beach and Tidal river (1.5hrs) that offers spectacular coastal views with huge granite boulders.

Our recommendation for good walkers on our Wilsons Prom 1 Day Tour is to take on the Mt.Bishop walk, followed by the Squeaky Beach to Tidal River walk before relaxing on the beach and later viewing kangaroos and emus. This provides up to 3 hrs of walking plus some time on the beaches and with animals. However, we can easily accommodate your preference for more or less walking and more or less relaxing time.

Whatever your choice, you’ll be able to view the wild kangaroos and emus. This is always one of the best wildlife viewing spots in Victoria.

If you are interested in planning extended walks, please talk to us about our options for serious hikers.
