All about the Bruny Island Gourmet Tour with Pennicott Wilderness Journeys.
Start the day by being picked up by your expert guide and driven through the beautiful Huon Valley region where we board the Kettering Ferry to start our gourmet adventure of Bruny Island. Along with the fabulous food delicacies the island is rich with Aboriginal tradition and natural beauty that you will fall in love with.
Your Bruny Island Gourmet Tour is spent exploring some of the various food providors and sampling many the following delicacies

- Chocolate & Fudge Tasting

Whilst enjoying the gourmet offerrings you will visit the Neck ‘Truganini Lookout’ for amazing views then take the scenic coastal drive to Adventure Bay where the home of Pennicott Wilderness Cruises are, here you will experience an unforgettable 3 hr adventure cruise exploring the dramatic coastline and fluted rock formations of Bruny Island. Once back on shore either lunch at Adventure Bay or visit a premium winery for a 2 course meal washed down with a local drop. On our way back stop for a scenic walk to spot then rare Albino Wallaby or drop in for a Whisky and some chocolate fudge tastings.

Tour departs from your accommodation at 8.00 am and your return is approx 6.00 -6.30pm.
As a private operator we can change it to suit you and your group. Please let us know if you want any changes.
If you want to have more time to taste more of the gourmet food providors such as Oysters, Chocolate fudge, Cheese and Whisky tasting then we recommend eating at the Pennicott’s beach restaurant to save time and spend more time sampling the produce.
