A days of adventure and fun awaits you on our Lake Mountain Luxe Bus Snow Tour. Take the family for some fun tobogganing and snow play, or for those wanting some cross country skiing you can explore many of the paths and trails.
The Lake Mountain Alpine resort offers many fun activities, ideal for those experiencing the snow for the first time with their family or friends. This is the premier resort for Tobogganing and snowplay with the family.
Our Luxe Bus small group snow tour is all primed for a fun filled day in the snow. You will travel in a spacious small group vehicle with extra leg room and overhead luggage storage where you can sink into our reclinable leather seats in the early morning hours as we drive through the picturesque Yarra Valley region and wind our way through the Mystic Mountains stopping at Marysville for coffee, hot chocolate and purchasing your hire equipment.
At the mountain your guide will assist you with finding the tobogganing runs and arranging any lessons and setting you up for a great day exploring the magic of the snow. You will have approximately 4 hrs to experience on the mountain to experience this amazing environment.
On our return journey the tour is not over, we visit Steavenson Falls for impressive waterfalls and then top the day off with sweet treats at the famous Yarra Valley chocolateries in Yarra Valley for hot chocolates and sweets.

Luxe Bus Lake Mountain Book Now
The mountain is a 2.15 hr drive north east of Melbourne through the scenic Yarra Valley into the mountains. The drive itself is spectacular through the tall mountain forests.
We recommend a 7.00am departure and a 5.00pm return. These times can be flexible midweek, weekends its important to leave early to avoid crowds.
To maximise your time on the mountain we recommend a 10 hour tour. This will give you between 4-5 hours on the snow.
If you are having fun and want to extend the tour by 2 hrs to 12 hrs you can do so on the day. Extra charge of $ 150.00 applies.
All skiing, toboggans, and clothing equipment can be hired on the mountain. Let your guide know what you need and we will arrange.
No you dont. If you cant ski then the toboggan run is your most fun, or just playing in the snow. For those more experienced Skiing and Snowboarding is available and these can be hired..
Bring as much warm clothing that you can. you will need to have
- Gloves & boots*
- Jacket & Pants*
- Sunglasses and Sunscreen*
- Small backpack or bag
If you don’t have any of these you can hire all clothing and equipment on the mountain.
Yes we have Free Wifi for you whilst in the vehicle and Lake Mountain offers free WiFi.
Its a fun day out so bring your family and your children. The mountain has two toboggan parks that are safe and supervised by resort staff and plenty of places for general snow play.
If you have children under 7 we must be notified to bring a harness seat for them by law.
